Junior Olympics - July 5-9
USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival - Chesapeake Bay Open. The Chesapeake Bay's regional event takes place just about 3 weeks prior to the Summer Olympics in the UK. Open to Opti Green, Opti Red, White, Blue, Club 420s and Lasers on 4 different circles run by AYC and Severn Sailing Association's respective Race Committees. An “Olympic Village” will be set up at the Junior Sailing Annex. Notice of Race will be posted soon and online entry will be available on or about April 1.

There will be 3 Fleets. Eligible classes for Fleet 1 are: J/105, J/80, J/30, J/24, PHRF A2, PHRF B, PHRF C. Eligible classes for Fleet 2 are: J/35, PHRF A1, PHRF A0.
Eligible for Fleet 3 is: PHRF N, CBYRA Multihull A and B. Fleet 1 will sail Sep 29/30, Fleet 2 will sail Oct 13/14 and Fleets 1, 2 and 3 will have starts for the Distance Race on Saturday, October 6.
